About Us
Sugar & Spice has been in business for over 17 years in the heart of Porter Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a female-owned and operated, local, family restaurant, Sugar & Spice is dedicated to bringing you authentic “Thai-Thai” Meals everyday. In a way, Sugar & Spice has been three generations in the making. It all started out on a tiny sidewalk cafe, in the southern Thai city Nakhon Sri Thammarat, and a desire to share an experience; a delicious Thai meal. Bringing over the flavors of her childhood and family cooking secrets, Chef Penjan Janburiwong established Sugar & Spice in the streets of Massachusetts, with hopes of serving all her customers an exceptional dining experience and, an authentic, fresh, "Thai-Thai" meal. At Sugar & Spice, we want to bring that “Thai-Thai, authentic cooking” to you.

Our Food
Our Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with strong components and a spicy edge. It is known for its complex interplay of at least three and up to four or five fundamental taste senses in each dish: sour, sweet, salty, bitter, and spicy — to achieve that elusive Thai taste. Aside from the many traditional Thai dishes offered, our menu has many unique Thai dishes created in our very own kitchen. At Sugar & Spice, our dishes are authentic yet deeply personal, making for an experience you won’t find any where else. There’s a Thai dish for every occasion when you order from Sugar & Spice. Just make sure you check the spiciness level when you order!
Our Services
After 17+ years serving our wonderful Cambridge, and Boston, community, our Thai Restaurant has become a favorite of Boston’s local dining aficionados and visitors in seek of an authentic Thai dining experience. Our services include dine-in, outdoor-seating, takeout, delivery, and catering for Thai cuisine. We are open everyday for dine-in in the heart of Porter Square. Outdoor seating is also available at our beautiful patio in the summer. We also offer contactless takeout and delivery for our full takeout menu everyday from 11:30 AM - 3:00PM and 4:00 PM - 9:30 PM.+
