I went to Sugar & Spice Thai Restaurant with my friend @rainacxh a while ago, and it was not only delicious but affordable and cheap! If you don’t try out this restaurant, it’s really your loss. When my three friends and I went to Sugar & Spice for some Thai food, everything we ate ( pictured above ) plus tips and taxes came out to around $120. Here are what we ordered and my thoughts:

Chicken on fire: must-order-must-try Thai dish. The chicken seems to have been marinated with a peanut sauce, that was a little sweet but really good. The chicken was also really tender.

Hor Mok: This Thai fish and shrimp curry inside a coconut is one of their recommended dishes. The curry flavor was good, and the shrimps were really big.

Shrimp Mermaid: Fried Shrimp rolls. Although this dish wasn’t recommended by anyone, it was super delicious. I would highly recommend trying the shrimp mermaid.

Satay: Chicken skewers, tasted great, but seemed to taste similar to the chicken on fire hahaha.

Tom Kar: This Thai coconut chicken soup seems like the Thai take on creamy mushroom soup. If you don’t like the taste of Tom Yum Soup, I would recommend giving this soup a try. It tasted great.

Chicken avocado curry: This is a Thai curry dish with chicken and avocado. It was mildly spicy but delicious. I also never would’ve realized that avocados would match well with the curry flavors, but it did.

Fried Ice Cream: This dessert tasted similar to a fried sweet potato with ice-cream. It was delicious, a source of happiness for any foodie.

Mango Sticky Rice: I went the day after Valentine's day and it was still the heart-shaped Valentine version of the dish. The presentation was so cute!

For drinks, I ordered milk tea and the frozen taro milk tea. I would recommend them both, they both tasted great.

I would recommend getting there a bit earlier so you can avoid the wait/line.

Although it’s not located in downtown Boston, the affordable price and delicious Thai food definitely made it worth the trip.

-

Chicken on fire:

Hor mok:

Shrimp mermaid:

Chicken avocado curry:

Fried Ice cream:

Mango Sticky Rice:
